Donor Care Assistant

 

Role purpose:

Yayasan Sayangi Tunas Cilik (Save the Children Indonesia) is changing for the better.  We’ve begun to build a national organization that aims to be a strong, local, and self-sustaining voice for children in Indonesia.  To this end, SC Indonesia has been designated as a “Member”. As ‘Member’ Indonesia has been identified as part of the next way of new member development, which focusses on strengthening and localizing our voice for children in strategic middle-income countries. Indonesia has been authorized by member ballot to start fundraising locally as a first step towards building a financially sustainable local organization. Future work will also involve developing a strong local governance structure and building key partnerships with local government, the private sector, local civil society among others. Success of the pilot phase will set Indonesia on a pathway to full membership.

The role holder will responsible to engage and handle inbound call and answer email donor services. Donor Care Assistant must ensure every donor get their journey based on their donation. Doing welcome call, ensure welcome process.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrations, communications or related fields
  • A minimum of one year proven working experience as a customer service or retail officer
  • Excellent computer literacy in order to type up report, results and details of donor interactions
  • Ability to work
  • Strong donor/customer-facing and communications skills
  • Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
  • Familiar with customer service software, CRM software, SMS masking tools will be advantage
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Customer/donor centric and oriented
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Strategical thinking with analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills
  • Understand NGO and social works in Indonesia, and basic knowledge about fundraising activities, principles, techniques and best practices
  • Highly self-motivated, well organized and able to manage several jobs at one time
  • Available to works in shifts

Experiences and skills

Essential:

  • Experience in Customer Service Area/Telemarketing will be an advantage.
