About the job

Based in Naples, Italy, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will be responsible for identifying system vulnerabilities and possible threats and applying the necessary safeguards to defend against potential attacks. You will provide guidance on the identification of security requirements for automated systems as well as in application development, implementation, operations and maintenance. Finally, you will prepare technical documentation for accreditation processes and for COMSEC, EMSEC, TRANSEC inspections. For a full list of duties, please review the job description here.

About you

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Senior Technician (Cyber Security Operations) with ideally higher vocational training in a relevant discipline (such as IT/ Cyber Security) with 2 years post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with at least 4 years post-related experience.

We are seeking extensive knowledge of the principles of CIS/Cyber Security, networking, modern operating systems and applications, and their vulnerabilities. We also look for candidates with demonstrated knowledge and experience in Internet Protocol based networks and components (routers and switches), McAfee ePO and Crypto systems and techniques.

Knowledge of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
