THE MISSION

The missions’ objectives are:

Assistance to Ukrainian refugees going to Moldavia at entry point:

  1. Distribution of hot food
  2. Distribution of drinkable water
  3. Support to transit

Assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Moldavia at transit centers level:

  1. Distribution of hot food
  2. Distribution of basic NFI
  3. Distribution of drinkable water

Moldavia is relatively safe and not directly impacted by the conflict in Ukraine. It is however ABSOLUTELY requested to be very flexible and to know that there is no standard JD or tasks. Each person must be motivated, aware of the needs and ready to do what is necessary in potentially complex logistics environment and rough living conditions.

THE POSITION

Desired start date: ASAP
Duration of the mission: 3 months
Location: Chisinau with regular stays in entry points and transit centers all over the country.

Specific stakes and challenges

= Challenges related to the opening a base and of a new mission:

  1. Opening the base: recruitment of the new team, induction, implementation of basic procedures…
  2. Young mission: coordination team under creation, procedures not yet adapted to local context, no senior employees to support the opening and the base…

YOUR PROFIL

Education

Bachelor degree in a field related to finance and/or HR management

Experience

– 1 year minimum experience required in administrative management (or as an assistant of administrative coordinator)
– Previous experiences in the humanitarian field.

SI WILL OFFER YOU

A salaried position
According to experience, starting from 1 800 euros gross per month (+ 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly) and a monthly Per Diem.
SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL also covers accommodation costs in the Guest House and travel expenses between the expatriate’s country of origin and the place of assignment.

Breaks
During the assignment, a system of alternation between work and time off is implemented at the rate of 7 working days every three months (with 850 USD allocated by SOLIDARITÉS INTERNATIONAL). To these break periods, one additional rest day per month worked are granted.

Social and medical cover
Expatriates benefit from an insurance package which reimburses all healthcare expenses (including medical and surgical expenses, dental care and ophthalmological expenses, repatriation) and a welfare system including war risks. Essential vaccination and antimalarial treatment costs are refunded.
