Job Description

  • Proven knowledge and experience as a functional analyst working with databases, configuration settings, troubleshooting, data import and export.
  • Technical understanding to enable effective delivery of technology projects including new system implementations and upgrades to existing systems.
  • Experience in software selection projects is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage and successfully deliver projects impacting multiple business functions at multiple locations including international.
  • Strong analysis skills and ability to translate business requirements into a set of project deliverables and associated tasks.
  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal English and Portuguese is required), with an ability to listen and to articulate project status and issues.  Communication experience should be at all organizational levels internally and with vendors and service providers.
  • Team building and management skills, to bring a diverse group together to deliver required business results.
  • Customer Focus – proven track record of customer satisfaction and delivery success and ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships with business and IT stakeholders
  • Consulting/Problem Solving – ability to work in an advisory capacity to identify key problems, develop and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational skills including accurate records keeping and proper documentation.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, follow processes, and policies (including environmental & safety), and act as a contributing member of a team environment.

Candidate profile

  • General experience: A degree in computer Science, software engineering or similar IT fields with at least 5 years of experience;
  • Management experience: Project Leadership experience for IT projects
  • Technical experience: Software engineering with strong and proven ability on Software development and support as well as great communication skills
  • Other skills: Ability to communicate both in Portuguese and English and be at easy with presentations and training large groups
