Job Purpose

The Associate Treasury Analyst will: (i) provide analytical and coordination support on funding transactions, such as new borrowings and swap transactions, personnel management, budget administration and other division activities of the Funding Division and (ii) assist and coordinate preparation of various reports for compliance and filing requirements.

The incumbent will report to Assistant Treasurer, TDFD, and/or designated International Staff and senior National Staff.

Qualifications

Relevant Experience & Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or other relevant disciplines;
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office applications; with sound knowledge of common word-processing, spreadsheets and graphics software used in multilateral organizations;
• Thorough understanding of the role and function of the division/office/department and a good general understanding of the organization’s purpose;
• Good working knowledge of procedures, formats, and standards relevant to Treasury and in the performance of work;
• Good coordination and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and exercise judgment on matters of confidentiality and those requiring urgent attention especially in the supervisor’s absence;
• Ability to exercise sound analytical skills;

General Considerations :

The selected candidate, if new to ADB, is appointed for an initial term of 3 years.
