The Role

Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for Finance System Manager who will be responsible for the development, project management and support of finance systems across Oxfam International Secretariat offices including regional and country offices whereappropriate. The role provides oversight, maintenance and enhancement of the Oxfam International finance system to ensure data integrity, financial reporting and financial analysis needs are met. It also provides support for the development and enhancement of our business intelligence systems (Power BI). The role also supports the integration from various non-finance systems into our finance systems, which involves data interfaces and data transfers (eg. payroll). It also provides functional and technical support to users of financial systems in Oxfam International offices. In addition to regular stakeholder engagement, the role requires the maintenance of close and effective working relationships across the finance team, technology services team and other areas of the organisation to ensure finance system use is optimised.

• Experience supporting staff on finance systems issues and resolutions- including demonstrable,
solutions-focused customer service skills
• A high level of self-motivation, proven initiative and ability to work with limited supervision- including
excellent time management skills
• Proven analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English

Desirable
• Experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment
• Experience in multi-national or multi-country systems is desirable
• Any finance or accounting qualifications
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours may be required to engage with and support stakeholders
across multiple time zones
• Proven experience of working within a fast-paced business environment and used to multi-tasking
• Flexible and positive approach to work
• Adaptable to change
