About the Activities

  • Manage MRP (Material Requirement Planning) process –  review, confirm and expedite replenishment requirements for Base Oils, Additives, Empty Packaging and Purchased finished goods.
  • Data analysis using sales forecasts and historical data to adapt MRP parameters.
  • Liaise with Logistics to ensure goods are delivered on time.
  • Liaison between Supply Chain and Sales Support teams, providing product availability information and ETAs. Minimising and resolving back order issues.
  • Stock Control start to end AdBlue Supply Chain process.
  • Manage replenishment and reconciliation process for remote storage plants & consignment sites.
  • Control collections of empty IBCs, barrels and pallets from customers. Maximise re-usability for all packaging items.
  • Update Bulk Logistic spreadsheet with collection ref, dates etc.
  • Send CMRs to Base oils department.
  • Control, monitor and process complaints related to Supply Chain.
  • Assist when necessary, obtaining product Certificates of Analysis.
  • Assist Logistics Planner when required. Communication with Bulk Hauliers scheduling the deliveries due into Ferrybridge.
  • Reconciliation of all plant stock level discrepancies.
  • Other duties, required by Supply Chain Manager or Supply Chain Services Manager, in line with operational requirement. Provide cover for Supply Chain Services Department during absences.

You will work in the Supply Chain Services Team.

Financial Data: Involved with annual procurement ; Working closely with the Corporate Purchasing team.

Inventory Data: Management of stock at multiple locations.

Statistical Data: Responsible for management of 1700 finished products, 20 base oils, 200 additives & raw materials.

About the Context and Environment

This role is based at the Ferrybridge blending plant. There may be requirements for the jobholder to visit third party warehouses, suppliers or the oil blending plant. The job holder will provide cover for the Supply Chain Services Department.

 

Candidate profile

About the Accountabilities

The role is administrative and requires SAP, MRP process and IT skills for data processing. Attention to detail is paramount and effective communication, written and orally is essential.

About the Candidate 

  • Minimum 2 years Experience of working within Supply Chain is essential.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, flexible and highly organised individual.
  • High level of attention to detail, accurate analytical skills.
  • PC literacy, advanced MS Excel is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills required. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of business.
  • Predominantly Monday to Friday, however, must be willing to work extra hours where necessary.
