We seek to increase our presence in the hospitality sector by gaining our share of new leads through partnerships and business accounts. To support us in this vision, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Associate who will be responsible for the full sales, marketing and business development cycle. You will aggressively market the Laverie Express brand to develop new business accounts and partnerships.

You are an ideal candidate for this position if:

  • You have a minimum of five years of experience and existing relationships in the hospitality industry.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in business development and strategic partnerships.
  • You are a natural salesperson with professional demeanor and a strong passion for building relationships and satisfying customer needs.
  • You are resourceful, detail-oriented, organized and self-reliant, and you are committed to ensuring that sales objectives are met.
  • You control the sales process and are able to anticipate customer objections and potential opportunities, as well as guide them through the sales process.
  • You are motivated by making a deal and know how to use your time effectively.
  • You follow the right leads and motivate your prospects to close deals that are very beneficial for you and the company.
  • You are fluent in French and English (written and oral).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the evaluation and development of new customer acquisition opportunities and strategies.
  • Manage the business development process – from prospect finding to signing the contract.
  • Conduct lead generation activities for new and additional activities, including cold calls, networks, and other opportunity prospecting methods.
  • Visit potential and existing customers at their company’s head office or other sites as needed.
  • Make presentations to existing and potential clients
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of our solutions for opening and concluding contracts.
  • Quickly identify the customer’s key stakeholders and anticipate potential objections and opportunities.
