Duties and Responsibilities

The consultant shall, under the overall guidance of the UNDP Technical Advisor for Strategic Framework / Delivery Unit Coordinator and in close collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and UNDP project team, assist the Ministry by conducting the following activities:

  • Provide assistance to the MoF during the assessment of legal aspects of the role of pension funds in the capital market in the Republic of Serbia;
  • Provide recommendations to the MoF related to legal aspects of the pension funds business operations in capital markets;
  • Provide assistance to the MOF in providing recommendations within the process of rationalization of capital markets operations from the legal perspective.

Required Skills and Experience

Education

  • BA University degree in law or related field; Master degree is considered an asset

Work experience

  • At least 7 years of relevant working experience in the field of pension fund insurance law;
  • Knowledge and understanding of a domestic legal framework, rules and procedures, especially in the field of institutional investors;
  • Work experience in the public sector, city or state administration is considered as asset;

Language

  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in Serbian and English language.
