The international organisation, based in Bern, advocates for women’s participation in peacebuilding, supports the exchange of experiences and knowledge and networking among women peace activists around the world, and promotes women’s sustainable and visible peace work.

Would you like to join us in shaping feminist peace work and make a difference for women in peace processes?

To complement our team in Bern, we are looking for a Seasoned fundraiser (80%)

Your responsibilities include:

  • Strategic and operational responsibility for PWAG’s institutional and private partnerships and financing opportunities in Switzerland and abroad.
  • Planning, development, evaluation and monitoring of fundraising measures and programmes.
  • Continuous development and implementation of strategies for effective partnerships that take into account PWAG’s international orientation.
  • Strengthening our institutional fundraising and developing relevant applications.
  • Research, development and maintenance of the network of private donors and partners, foundations and companies, in Switzerland and abroad.
  • Donation administration (acknowledgements, donation confirmations, reports).

Your profile:

You have a university degree or equivalent qualification and several years of professional experience in fundraising for NPOs. You have an extensive network and are well acquainted with the Swiss and international fundraising market. Feminist peace work and human rights matter to you, and you identify with the goals of our organisation. You are a communicative and integrative personality who can authentically represent PWAG’s values and mission to different target groups and build long-term relationships. Your written and spoken language skills are excellent and you ideally communicate in several languages (German, English, French). Your profile is rounded off by the ability to work in a team, personal responsibility, intercultural skills, negotiating skills and a sense of humour.

We offer exciting and meaningful work with a lot of creative freedom in a motivated team, working in the centre of Bern. Does this appeal to you? We are looking forward to getting to know you.
