L’Union Internationale des Télécommunications recrute un(e) Stagiaire en développement de l’infrastructure numérique à Genève en Suisse.

 

 

 

 

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Under the supervision of the Head of the ITU Office for Europe, the intern will focus on the following tasks related to Digital Infrastructure Development in Europe:

  • carry out research on Digital in Europe, assisting in the preparation of research papers, briefs, working documents and presentations;
  • provide assistance in the preparation of regional or national meetings/workshops/seminars related to the ITU Regional Initiative for Europe, in particular focusing on ICT infrastructure; this includes and is not limited to the preparation of meetings’ documentation, assistance during coordination meetings, and preparation of summaries;
  • provide support in the implementation of the engagement strategies, targeting new European stakeholders interested in partnering on the implementation of the ITU Regional Initiatives for Europe, in particular those focusing on ICT infrastructure development;
  • participate in the elaboration of project proposals corresponding to the expected results of the ITU Regional Initiatives for Europe;
  • facilitate implementation of effective communication campaigns on social media relating to the implementation of the ITU Regional Initiatives, in particular those focusing on ICT infrastructure development.

  • Ability to draft clearly and concisely, good written and oral language skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills, willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues and ask questions to clarify work.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

Education:

University degree in telecommunications, computer science, international relations, economics, political science or relevant field OR education in a reputed college of advanced education, with a diploma of equivalent standard to that of a university degree in one of the above-mentioned fields.

Experience:

No work experience is required.

Languages:

Knowledge of English at an advanced level.
