Appel à manifestation d’intérêt (AMI) : Welthungerhilfe recrute un(e) Coordinateur(trice) logistique basé en Ukraine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Ensure that material resources are correctly planned in agreement with the Area Managers and Heads of Project, also with Head of Programmes and the Head of Finance as needed

  • Involvement in the planning and processing of local purchases, storage, transportation, distribution and use of funds, incl. documentation in accordance with WHH standards and the respective specifications and requirements of the project and co-financers
  • Support the programs department in determining the financial and material requirements of projects, ensuring that all logistical aspects are considered in project designs and that each project has an approved and functioning procurement plan
  • Involvement in the preparation and monthly revision of operational plans
  • Participate in the preparation of regular reports on the project’s progress and developments on the ground
  • Leading, coaching and capacity building of logistics staff
  • Organise the fleet management of the country programme/projects
  • Plan and organise imported goods (import regulations, customs handling)
  • Organise and maintain office premises/guesthouses and storage facilities (including the identification of suitable buildings, furnishings and fittings)
  • Participate in logistic cluster meetings ensuring
    • JERU is represented in all logistic cluster or other logistics related coordination efforts
    • JERU is informed of logistical challenges and developments in Ukraine
    • JERU is a part of joint efforts for solutions to humanitarian logistics challenges in country
  • Ensure assets registers / inventory lists are kept in line with WHH regulations, that all procurement related documents are organized and archived in a user-friendly and compliant manner, and that all logistic department documentation are organized and archived properly
  • Support distributions, needs assessments, and all other program activities which require logistics support.

Your profile

  • A university or polytechnic degree in logistics, development cooperation/humanitarian aid or qualifications that are commensurate with this position

  • At least 5 years of job related working experience (regional working experience is an asset)
  • Humanitarian specialization in Bioforce, NoHA, or similar would be an asset
  • AA, ECHO, BHA, DEC, BMZ donor experience would be an asset
  • Broad intercultural competence and ability to cope in a multinational team
  • Coordination and organizational skills – even under a high workload
  • Good IT skills, practical knowledge of MS Teams, Excel, and other software
  • Readiness to receive necessary vaccinations for traveling to Welthungerhilfe’s programme countries
  • Excellent spoken and written English, knowledge of Ukrainian would be an asset.
