Key Responsibilities :

As a Student Assistant at Total, you will get to understand the oil and gas industry. In becoming the responsible energy major committing to better energy, there is still a need for hydrocarbons in meeting energy demands. In this team, you will be provided with an in-depth insight into the everyday work life interfacing with a multitude of stakeholders.

Overall, with the varying day-to-day tasks and approximately 20 hours per week during office hours (7.00-17.00), you are responsible of managing and shaping your daily tasks. You will be given a clear area of responsibility which to a certain extent will depend on your experience, personality and educational background. There will be routine tasks, and opportunities to be involved in different tasks across the team.

Your weekly tasks will involve:

  • Assist the HR Operations team with daily administrative task, e.g. create contractual documents, assist with employee request in mailbox, maintain HR systems etc.
  • Working with projects within HR Operations
  • Ad hoc tasks related to all administration activities from offshore and office in Esbjerg.

 

Candidate profile

Who we are looking for :

We are looking for BSc student with flair for systems and a natural understanding or curiosity of spotting trends and dependencies in processes. Your personality is of utmost importance in order to be successful in this position as it calls for a pro-activeness and personal drive to quickly learn and support the team. We are looking for a person that is known for delivering good quality of work and a high focus on details. As the position supports the link between employees and the organization, being service minded is a skillset that should come natural to you as well as being motivated by executing. You are an outgoing team player willing to work independently most of the time. Routine tasks and formal procedures will be part of your daily work; therefore, you are patient and well structured.

Your background

  • You are currently studying at BSc or MSc level with a minimum of 2 years left of your studies
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Analytical mindset, which means that you naturally look for data patterns and deviations
  • Proficiency in oral and written English
