Key Responsibilities
As Head of HUC&W Coordination in Tyra Redevelopment Project, you will be able to shape and develop a central role with great influence in performing the overall coordination of the project offshore HUC & Wells activities. This is with the possibility to continuously learn and develop your competencies being responsible of the overall system/subsystem approach in HUC planification and execution, with the objective of safely delivering first gas and minimizing SIMOPS activities. You will get to use your knowledge and experience applying a range of techniques when coordinating and scheduling priorities, as defined by the HU&C execution plans, in close coordination with other packages (Construction / Commissioning / FOPS / Brownfield / T&I / Wells) to ensure the optimal planning to First Gas.

You are the focal point of the HUC RSES based offshore for coordination and planning and technical coordination matters. Finally, you will ensure an optimized execution of the TRP offshore Hook-Up and Commissioning phases in line with the project safety, cost, quality and schedule objectives, in view of achieving first gas production and production ramp-up.

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:
HSE Matters:

  • Ensure that all HSE aspects are duly implemented and considered while coordination and planning for the offshore campaign
  • Continuously contribute to improve the Site Safety / Environment performances in preparation and execution of the work
  • Participate as required to risk assessments, Hazid studies, incident analysis
  • Ensure that the requirement of the HUC HSE plan are duly implemented
  • Provide input to the constitution of the SIMOPS dossier
  • Make regular visit to site, participate and provide inputs as required to site HSE committees.

TRP Execution Matters:

  • Ensure the coordination with TEPDK Asset activities interfacing with the project
  • Contribute and drive the overall offshore TRP HUC execution strategy.
  • Define and monitored the HUC project completion milestones
  • Lead the execution schedule define / redefine priorities.
  • Propose planning optimization to improve the critical path to first gas and ramp-up
  • Responsible to validate the consolidated progress and reports for the HUC&W delivery line with the project control team
  • Coordinate the resolution of transverse technical subjects with the support of the Engineering team and HUC&W delivery lines
  • Optimize and maximize synergies for logistic means deployed on site
  • In charge the Vendor coordination for HUC scope, maximizes synergies between HU and Commissioning Vendors with the objective of optimizing the schedule while minimizing costs.
  • Propose cost saving opportunities related to offshore HUC coordination activities.
  • Participate regularly and provide inputs as required to cost / budget review exercises.
  • Provide input, as required, to external stake holders
  • The TRP head off HUC coordination is acting HUC&W manager in specific instances.

The position is based on a resident basis in Esbjerg and working onshore in the Esbjerg office.

Your background

  • Master’s degree in science / Mechanical / Petroleum Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10 to 15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas industry with strong focus on projects management and offshore Hook-up and Commissioning.
  • A good leadership and transverse management experience, with the ability to organize, lead and motivate a large and various team from different cultures and different levels of education.
  • A very strong focus on safety, cost and project delivery
  • Ability to manage Emergency situations
  • Ability to take decisions.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English

The Tyra Redevelopment Project (TRP) is a Major offshore gas redevelopment project in the Danish North Sea 210 km from Esbjerg with a 40-meter water of depth. The project has completed its first phase with successful completion of hook-down and decommissioning works. The project is now entering into its development phase comprising both Brownfield, Greenfield and Well servicing activities. The greenfield scope of work consists in the installation and Hook-up and Commissioning of newly built facilities composed of:

  • 3 Wellhead & Riser Platforms TE
  • 3 Wellhead & Riser Platforms TW
  • 1 Central Process Platform topsides (TEG)
  • 1 Living Quarters Platform topsides (TEH)
  • New jackets for TEG & TEH

The HUC&W scope includes also the reinstatement and unsuspension of 44 gas producing wells.
The Project HUC offshore campaign is estimated to last over a period of 20 months starting in August 2021. The HUC campaign will be divided into three distinct phases (cold and hot) and will comprise a base case scope of nearly 900,000 of HU/Construction manhours along with 250,000 manhours of commissioning activities. The HUC campaign will mobilizes two accommodation Rig on the Tyra field with POB @ 350+ during peak activities.
