JOB PURPOSE

The Information and Technology (I&T) programme seeks to appoint an exceptional Finance Systems Administrator. The successful candidate will work together with Finance to help maintain live systems and ensure business needs are met. There will be a focus on supporting the Finance team as they stabilise with their new implementation of D365 F&SCM.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that business systems are maintained and supported to the highest quality to allow for future development of additional features and functionality, and for future implementation and integrations of other business systems for Amnesty International Secretariat (AIS), such as Oracle for HR and ADP Payroll.

ABOUT YOU

You will be technically minded, with a thorough understanding of Finance processes and practices, and excellent attention to detail. You will be comfortable working with all areas of the business to guide, lead and support their use of D365 and other core Business Systems.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that systems and related processes and controls are functioning effectively and efficiently;
  • Act as Administration for core Finance Systems – D365, Concur (SAP), Longview and other systems onboarded;
  • Perform day to day maintenance, support, and housekeeping of business systems;
  • Ensure that all financial systems are operated in accordance with sound financial controls, policies, procedures and regulations; work with I&T to ensure adequate backups and disaster recovery plans are in place;
  • Manage, maintain, and support integrations between D365 and other Business Systems, such as Oracle for human resources, ADP – payroll system and external payment providers and banks;
  • Deliver continuous improvement of the reliability, performance, and user experience of Finance Systems.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Extensive experience and/or qualifications in the Finance field;
  • Extensive knowledge of data processing, business processes and enterprise software applications;
  • An extensive and in-depth knowledge of D365 F&SCM modules, controls and processes;
  • Experience in finance software testing and implementation;
  • Experience of best practice in ensuring finance systems compliance with financial controls, policies, procedures and regulations;
  • Sufficient experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM.
