You will be working towards an accountancy qualification and have sound experience of financial reporting & analysis. You will be well organised, efficient & resourceful, and thrive on working in a dynamic environment and delivering to strict deadlines.

You will have excellent communications skills, enabling you to support a wide range of stakeholders from different backgrounds and in varied geographical locations. You will be an analytical thinker with a strong attention to detail but can also think strategically and challenge the status quo.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support effective financial decision making through preparation of monthly IS management accounts and finance reports for programmes.
  • Prepare and post month end journals where necessary, including accruals, prepayments and re-charges, ensuring management accounts accurately reflect business performance.
  • Carry out a series of month end checks to ensure accurate financial reporting, work with central finance team to implement controls or improve processes to improve data quality going forward.
  • Support the Financial Planning & Analysis team in planning for and carrying out the annual budgeting & planning process.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

  • You will be working towards an accountancy qualification.

Work Experience

  • Management reporting, i.e. producing quality financial information to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to analyse financial information and identify trends or issues and to highlight them.
  • Financial analysis and experience with large amounts of data e.g. Excel modelling and pivot tables.
