Main responsibilities

While not being affected to a cell, the second polyvalent HROP supports the entities where specific modus operandi are piloted, namely for the missions in Uganda, Greece, DPRK, Kiribati (the list can evolve).

For these missions, he/she:

  • Guides the HR counterparts to define the HR strategy of the mission, the action plan to implement this strategy and the indicators to manage it and measure its achievement.
  • Supports them to define, adapt, plan and supervise the implementation of the mission’s HR policies and ensure that they are consistent with the context, operational and institutional challenges and HR strategy.

In addition to the support to these missions, the HROP polyvalent will play a key role in the HROP unit by:

  • Providing specific data related to the HROP challenges (ad hoc request of other filière, typology, preparation of POA and MYR to support the HROP, dashboards, the follow up of the PM/2M ambitions of the HR filière, preparation of the tour du monde with the cell assistant and the maintenance of corresponding documents) and ensuring HROP key documents are translated and safeguarded in Kompas to be made accessible to the HROP and the missions (knowledge management).
  • Supporting the internationally mobile staff matching process from the operational side by compiling the demand coming from the missions and sharing it with the pool managers, ensuring fluidity in the process and proposing adaptations, working on the process improvement via the modification of the HR updates, supervising the compilation of the HR restrictions for internationally mobile staff.
  • Taking part in follow up of the “HR filière”, mainly by continuing the work on the HRCo onboarding and the HR onboarding in general with the LnD partners to improve the processes in place and participating in the implementation of an “field HR community of practice”.
  • The second HROP polyvalent will also be the HR focal point for the training content development in the HR filière, in line with the field HR competencies learning and development strategy that has been . She/he may be requested to work on specific learning modules and to deploy learning solutions.

Pré-requis du poste

Education

  • Training in People Management or similar (or significative experience);
  • Additional operational & HR MSF training an asset.

Experience

  • MSF experience as HR Coordinator or similar;
  • MSF Experience as Field Coordinator or similar is an asset.

Languages

  • Fluent in French and English
